Hujambo...Swahili for "Hello"!

This will be a short newsletter since we are HEADING TO KENYA.  As a matter of fact, when some of you read this letter we will be on British Airlines heading to London to catch our connecting flight to Nairobi.  It is amazing to Tammy and me that God has brought us to this point to do His will in Tala, Kenya.  What is also amazing is how He did it...through YOU!  You have been faithful to move when He called and through your support we are taking His love to the children and people of Tala.

We have packed 3/4 of a ton of supplies to take to Tala because of your generosity.  This includes Bibles, children's books, clothes, medical supplies, technology equipment and various miscellaneous items to show the children and adults of Tala that God's love will reach them no matter what their situation is.

You have allowed us to take $16,000 with us to be used in Tala to supply the orphanage with beds, desks and educational necessities.  We will use some of the funds to continue work on the three-story structure being built to take in more orphans.  We may use some of the funds to look for a used bus which is badly needed.  We will definitely use the funds to show God's providence to the children.

Tammy now has a "blog" up and running on the website.  She will attempt to keep it current as we travel to Kenya and while there (depending on the internet access).  Please go there on a regular basis to see what you have allowed us to do as servants of the Most High.  Please feel free to leave a comment, we would love to hear from you. 

My Friends, we all have a choice to be made.  Do we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit or do we ignore it.  Many of you have prayed about your involvement with this ministry and were led to help...you responded faithfully and we thank you for it.

Please pray with me that we will be faithful to what God has called us to and His will be done in Tala.

Once again I thank you for your continued support and prayers while we are in Kenya.  Please remember this is only the beginning of what God has called us to do.  Your faithful support on a regular basis will allow us to continue to show His love to the children and as Paul said in Galatians..."fulfill the law of Christ".
