"Where there is true charity, God is present"...This ministry is an outreach to the impoverished and orphaned children of Kenya. We exist to show them God's love by providing food, clothing, shelter and education. We do this in a hands-on capacity by working on-site at the orphanages. Thanks for visiting our website to see how you can help.

Saved By God's Grace from Kenya
Hello Friends,
First, let me apologize for the tardiness of this newsletter and excuse me if the layout is a little off...we have been working many hours in Kenya which has kept me off the computer and it is difficult to check layout using the internet connection here.
We have been in Kenya for almost a month now and a lot has happened. The Holy Spirit has allowed us to serve the Almighty as He calls. We have been blessed to serve at both Eldama Ravine Children’s Village and Mercy Child Foundation and have passed God's providence to the children. Both orphanages are extremely impoverished. They literally look to God for their existence. Even things like a second set of clothes and shoes are seen as luxuries not needs. Food and somewhere to sleep at night are the necessities. Adequate shelter is not even a need if you have some kind of roof over your head...even if it does not keep out the rain and the spiders and snakes live with you under the same roof...life is different for our children in Kenya.
We had an excellent get-together this past Sunday with the children at Nice View Academy. We began with U.S. praise and worship songs. They danced and were amazed at the type of songs we played such as Casting Crowns and TobyMac. After that we had an hour of Bible study with a question and answer session. We then had juice and began to play games for the next two hours...what a day. I tell you this so you will know the children can enjoy life like any child in the U.S. The problem is being born in Kenya does not afford them that opportunity on an on-going basis. It is through your support that days like the above are possible. Thank you for giving them this opportunity.
I ask that you continue to pray for God's will to be done in all we are doing. I am also asking for you to prayerfully consider whatever providence you can continue to give so we can pass it onto the children. We have spent the money we came with on the two new orphanages and the building project at Nice View Academy. There is much more to do as God provides through His people. Please go to the blog on the website and see what your generosity has accomplished. These things are only possible through your donations as the Holy Spirit convicts. Please remain open to the Spirit if you are so guided.
In conclusion, once again thank you for your assistance and prayers. Thank you for lifting us up to the Almighty. He is the reason we are here and He is our strength. We exist and serve only through His grace. We continue to see God at work and feel blessed and privileged to be used for His service while here. We appreciate being able to cry, laugh and praise God with His children in Kenya. We appreciate the beauty of the people and the country. We thank God for the blessing of seeing Scripture carried out in the lives of these children. Mungu akubariki (God bless you) my friends.
Serving God with you by serving the impoverished children of Kenya through His grace and His grace alone,
