Dear Friends,

Tammy and I are back in the States.  Through the grace of our Lord, much was accomplished while we were in Kenya.  We literally saw evil being overcome only by the Love of God.  We saw the fight between "Powers and Principalities" occurring sometimes daily, but our God was faithful and even through the hardships and our ineptness His will was done...AMEN.

Please go to the blog and look at some of the things that were accomplished in the three orphanages you help support: Nice View, Eldama Ravine and Mercy Child.  So much was done that it would take pages to even begin to tell you how wonderful and gracious the Lord has been.  Tammy and I will be putting together a presentation which we would love to show you.  I encourage you to call us on our toll-free line (1-800-718-5877) to let us know if you wish to gather some people together so we can show them how God worked through you in Kenya to literally save the children of these three orphanages.

Scripture is becoming plainer to us as we continue to serve the children of Kenya.  As I now read Matthew I have a clearer understanding of where the Gospel leads us...what It calls us to.  I understand what James is telling us when he says without works our faith is "dead".  It is not enough to simply hear the words of our God, but it is mandatory that we act upon them.  Jesus made it clear only those that "do" truly have embraced Him as Lord and Savior and will enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 25:34-36).  What a blessing it is to serve Him by serving the children of Kenya.

Please remember this is not a one-time endeavor.  Just as with your own children, living out the Scriptural mandate of feeding, clothing and giving drink to the poor is a life-time calling and an eternal blessing.  We constantly ask that you pray about your involvement with this ministry and act as the Holy Spirit directs.  Even more important, simply continue to seek how you are to serve the Creator of the Universe so you live out the Gospel message as you are called.  Remember the greatest blessing we can receive is a relationship with the Almighty God, made possible through the death of His Son, Jesus.

Thank you for your continued support.  Please let others know about this work in Kenya and how you partner with us in living out the Scriptural mandate of "loving your neighbor as yourself" by caring for the uncared-for children in Kenya.  Our plans are to go back to Kenya for another few months in February.  We will be fundraising during the upcoming months to continue to ensure the children have food through one of the worst famines that has hit Kenya and other African countries.  We will also look for funds to continue projects such as completing the three-story building at Nice View, and beginning building projects at Mercy Child (to bring the facilities up to livable conditions) and Eldama Ravine (to allow more children to be brought into the facility) as well as getting transportation at Nice View (in progress) and Mercy Child (it sits in the middle of nowhere and the children and matron are isolated from everyone).

I hope to see many of you soon to show you in person what you have enabled us to do through the grace of God.  May He continue to bless you with a relationship with Him that has no boundaries.  May His peace and contentment be with you as He calls you to His service through the Holy Spirit.  May His love continue to shine upon you until we experience the ultimate Love of being with Him forever.
