"Where there is true charity, God is present"...This ministry is an outreach to the impoverished and orphaned children of Kenya. We exist to show them God's love by providing food, clothing, shelter and education. We do this in a hands-on capacity by working on-site at the orphanages. Thanks for visiting our website to see how you can help.

Saved By God's Grace September 2009 Newsletter
Dear Friends and Partners,
Are you called to go or to support? Our personal call was to give up the way we were living and to focus on bringing the Gospel, in Word and action, to impoverished children of Kenya. You may be called to something similar...each call is different, but all are for the glory of God. If you are not called to move out in a specific direction on your own, you may be called to support those who do. Tammy and I supported many children's ministries before we were called to physically move out ourselves. We know God moves His people to support those He calls to physically do the work (Scripture tells us this). If you don't hear Him telling you to physically move out, listen to see if He is calling you to support those that do. God will accomplish what He wants done, but He uses His people to do so. Listen to His voice to see where you are called. What a difference you continue to make! Through you we have received half of the funds we were requesting to ensure food would be available for the kids through the famine. With a gift we received yesterday, we have raised over 1/2 of the $11,000 and this has ensured food through October and into November for the orphanages. We are still looking for another $4,500 to keep them in food until the harvest in January of next year. If you are able, please consider a donation to make sure the kids continue to eat until our Lord brings the life-giving rains to Kenya in late October so the harvest will be plentiful in January...may He be merciful to fulfill this need.
As we continue to prepare to move to Kenya to do the work God has placed before us, please remember your support is what allows us to do so and is keeping the children literally alive in the famine situation that now ravishes Kenya. As you go through each day (praying unceasingly as the Apostle Paul tells us) lift up those who are wondering if they will eat today that they may have hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. Continue to keep this ministry in your prayers to see if you are called to partner with us in bringing the Gospel and sustenance to the children of Kenya. Please read Tammy's daily blog on the website (www.SavedByGodsGrace.org) to keep updated as we continue to prepare to leave and, once we are back in Kenya, to see what our Kenyan children and the Kenyan people do on a daily basis.
May God continue to bless you as you listen for and act on His call for your life.
