"Where there is true charity, God is present"...This ministry is an outreach to the impoverished and orphaned children of Kenya. We exist to show them God's love by providing food, clothing, shelter and education. We do this in a hands-on capacity by working on-site at the orphanages. Thanks for visiting our website to see how you can help.

Dear Friends and Partners,
Rains have come...or have they? We were overjoyed when we were given news rains had come to Tala two weeks ago or so. It was short lived as they only lasted a few days. What did occur is they were able to plant and are now waiting to see if the crop will germinate and begin to produce vegetables. During this most trying time we have been graced by our Lord to have strong supporters to assist the kids to ensure they will eat. We had calculated about $11,000 would provide enough food until the January harvest (praying that our Lord would bring the rains to allow a harvest). We have received $7,000 of this amount and have been able to purchase food which will last until the end of November. The remaining $4,000 will allow us to ensure providence through the harvest in January. If you are able, please consider a gift to help us raise the remaining funds so we can purchase the rest of the food for the kids.
We are still looking for supporters for The Change Campaign. As the time comes closer for us to move to Kenya, we know it will be much more difficult to continue to raise partners when we are in Kenya than when we are here in the US. That said, we are looking for many more supporters to go to www.TheChangeCampaign.org and commit to supporting the ministry at $12/month. If we spread this endeavor over many people at $12/month no one individual will feel burdened, but it will still allow us to obtain the monies necessary to provide for the children and the people who support the kids on the ground as caretakers and educators. If you have not joined us, please prayerfully consider doing so. If you have, please present this opportunity to others you know so they can consider it also. As always, thanks for everything you do and we pray you will see the fruit of what is being accomplished and find satisfaction and contentment in serving the Lord by bearing the burden of our children in Kenya.
Remember to read Tammy's daily blog (www.SavedByGodsGrace.org) to keep updated as we continue to prepare to leave. Once in Kenya, the blog will be used to allow you to see our kids and our daily life updates (through both words and pictures) and many things that will amaze, surprise and shock you about life in Kenya.
May God continue to bless you by drawing you closer to Him in all things.
