Dear Friends and Partners,

Glory to the new born King...Jesus...God with us! "...Mary, you have found favor with God.  You will be with child and give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus.  He will be great and called the Son of the Most High.  The Lord God will give Him the thrown of His father David, and He will reign over the house of David forever; His kingdom will never end." (Luke 1:30-33).  Amazing, God came to earth.  The One who created the heavens and the earth took on human form.  And why did He do this?...simply to die for us so we could be with Him forever.  What a reason to celebrate His birth.  What better way to celebrate than to give Him our very lives.

 

How do we give Him our lives...serve Him as He calls.  The question many people have is "how do I serve Him?"  The answer is found in Scripture.  It is to love your Lord God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength AND to love your neighbor as yourself...Jesus says this wraps it all up.  Responding to this command can take many forms, but we are called to step out in faith and give our lives for His service showing love to our brothers and sisters.  We have been blessed to have you partner with us over this last year helping the children the Lord has put in our path see the love of God in action.  What a gift that has been to them and to Tammy and me.  Your partnership has allowed us to bring His Gospel to them for this life and the eternal one.

 

Please remember the needs do not stop...they continue daily.  At this point this ministry, as well as many others, lacks adequate funding.  We have had to respond by cancelling the regular tutoring classes we would have normally held for the children in December.  While we continue to feed our orphaned children, we simply do not have the funds to feed the children who would be showing up for tutoring.  We pray our Lord is merciful to them so they receive food during this holiday season as we wait on Him to move the people He is gathering to respond...God will be faithful to meet the needs.  Since we continue to have faith God will provide for the needs, we move forward in full confidence.  We will be leaving for the month of January to present the needs of the children across the US.  If you are willing to host a fundraiser during that time please let us know and we will make plans to stop by (we are literally driving from Phoenix to New York and back).  When we come back we continue the countdown until we move to Kenya to serve on the ground as the Lord has called us.  We continue to look for your support in this endeavor, but we move as He calls no matter how the situation presents itself.  Please continue to tell people about the website at www.SavedByGodsGrace.org where you can support the ministry and Tammy and I personally with your donations and our campaign site built to allow you to use your "spare change" for change for our Kenyan children at www.TheChangeCampaign.org.

 

This is a season of love and renewal when we should take the opportunity to remember the One who gave it all for us.  I urge you to reach out to others as you are able in their time of need and do it for His glory and the good of His people...make it a habit that will last all year long.  May you be richly blessed by serving Him as He calls.
