"Where there is true charity, God is present"...This ministry is an outreach to the impoverished and orphaned children of Kenya. We exist to show them God's love by providing food, clothing, shelter and education. We do this in a hands-on capacity by working on-site at the orphanages. Thanks for visiting our website to see how you can help.

Saved By God's Grace February 2010 Newsletter
Dear Friends and Partners,
Thank you for the prayers for Gideon. The surgery went well and he is recuperating. I just received an email from him in which he said "Yes Brother I am now well and thanking God for His healing. Blessed be His holy name." This is just another affirmation that we are to partner with him into the future and serve God together as He calls for His glory and the good of those who love Him. Gideon is now back on his feet supervising the daily activities at Nice View. He is looking forward to having us back on the ground and we are looking forward to serving the Almighty with him once again.
The needs continue and now it includes personal items. As I write this newsletter Tammy's blog tells me we are 70 days from our move to Kenya. While we trust completely in the provision of God, we know provision will come through His people so we want to let you know about those needs. We have budgeted around $10,000 for the move. This includes moving our personal belongings to Kenya (as mentioned above we have our tickets, this is for luggage), getting medical, dental and eye check-ups before we leave (don't look forward to any of this in Kenya), putting up a room for a "normal" bed on Gideon's compound (bring on the spiritual battles, but let me get a good night sleep without waking up with backaches and headaches from sleeping on wood) and supplying the house with a generator, refrigerator and other sundry items. We also need an additional 6 large zipper suitcases for the trip. We simply ask you pray about your support and, if led, go to www.SavedByGodsGrace.org and make a donation marked for "Missionary Support". This will let us know that the funds are to be used to get us to and establish us in Kenya. As always, thank you so much for your faithfulness to this ministry which we pray glorifies God daily.
Keep visiting the website daily for updates on the blog. Tammy now has me as an official "author" on the blog so I will be trying my hand at it. My passion is to provide you with insight and encouragement in beginning and enhancing your walk with the Lord Jesus. I will humbly attempt to do so through maybe a weekly post about Scripture, living in faith, what is happening on the ground in Kenya, etc. I will definitely continue to remind you that our life here is all about the glory of God as I am confident it is. It is only by His grace we breathe each day and it is only by His grace we will be gathered into His arms to live in the eternal with Him. Seek Him, know Him, proclaim Him...what an amazing God we serve. Once again thank you for your partnership with us and Mungu akubariki (God bless you).
