My Friends,

For months we have been working with Feed My Starving Children (www.fmsc.org) to see if we could get into their program to receive food for our children in Kenya.  Well....I ask you to join me in thanking the Lord because it has happened.  We were just notified their Board has accepted us and we will receive a 40' container of food for our kids.  This is enough food to feed our children (400+) one complete meal per day for 18 months.  First, as I mentioned, please join me in thanking God for this partnership...He is the One who made it possible.  Second, we still have to come up with the proceeds to ship the food.  It will cost around $12,500 to ship (our latest estimate) and we have to establish a Kenyan non-profit organization (NGO) to do it so we do not have to pay "duty" which will add an enormous amount to the $12,500 (at least $8,500 more).  How can you help...you can do two things.  First, pray Gideon (Nice View Director) and I will be able to get the Kenyan government to approve our Kenyan sister organization to this ministry...Saved By God's Grace Kenya.  Second, please assist us financially to allow us to meet the financial needs for the shipping.  Go to www.SavedByGodsGrace.org and click on the "Donate Now" button to contribute whatever you can to assist us.  Select the "Allocation" box for "Other" and write "Ship the food" in the comment box.  By the grace of God we have come this far and by His grace it will be shipped.

Our God is a God of unlimited resource.  If you would have asked me three years ago if Tammy and I would be working with a major feeding program to send food to kids in Kenya I would have thought you were crazy, but here we are.  We are now in Kenya, with a great group of supporters throughout the US, a great Board of Directors who continue to work on behalf of the ministry on the gound in the US and we are now connected with a major child feeding program, Feed My Starving Children...all started, made possible and being continued only by the grace of God.

I tell you this to encourage you to step out as you listen to our Lord whispering to you.  Respond "Here I am" when He calls.  Know He wants to prepare you to serve Him now and in the eternal...for His glory and your good!  His grace continues to be sufficient and no matter what the situation here in Kenya or in the US, we will thank Him for being our strength, support and our guide.  Pray with me He loves you and I so much to do whatever needs to be done in our lives so the time spent on this side of heaven prepares us for eternal life with Him.  He has already sacrificed His Son...what won't He do if you seek Him?

Thank you for your continued partnership with us.  We are only granted providence by His grace as He moves His people to assist.  We never take that for granted.  We pray for you often and give thanks you have listened to the call to support this ministry for His glory and the good of the children of Kenya.  May the Lord continue to bless you with the best relationship you can have with Him made possible by Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.
