"Where there is true charity, God is present"...This ministry is an outreach to the impoverished and orphaned children of Kenya.  We exist to show them God's love by providing food, clothing, shelter and education.  We have done this by establishing Caring For Kenya's Kids (C4KK) Children's Home in Kenya.  Thanks for visiting our website to see how you can help.

My Friends,

I have a thick head...I am glad God uses you to affirm the direction I should be going...thanks.  As you know, about two weeks ago I put out a plea for funds to cover the education for all the students we have been supporting...they total 56 as of this writing.  20 of those are in a primary government school (which does cost money even though they are supposed to attend free), another 11 are in a private primary school which charges for the education, and the remaining 25 are in secondary school which includes boarding fees as well as fees for school....every four months is tough financially since so much has to be paid for all of the education.  What happened this last term, when I put out the plea for funds you met it.  We were able to get everyone back in school (the last two are being taken Monday) except those who have a technical issue such as no mark form (report card) has been produced.  We require mark forms to be given to us so we know the student is actually trying since some who become sponsored just don't try anymore since they believe their school will be paid no matter what...they know that is not true with Saved By God's Grace sponsorship (we have a policy on this...they must continue to focus and maintain above a D+ average or they will no longer be sponsored).

In conclusion...I just must say thanks.  I didn't believe God would not want these kids to continue in school, but I don't pretend to know the mind of God (His ways are so much above mine), but I do believe He affirms what He wants me to do by bringing His people to assist...and He did just that.

Another affirmation also took place last week.  As you may know, by the grace of God we are now running a Children's Home called "Caring for Kenya's Kids" (C4KK).  The home currently has 28 children on the premises and 2 waiting for paperwork.  We had three more children sponsored during the last two weeks from the home...that is amazing.  Now we only have 4 more children to be sponsored (excluding the two who are still waiting on paperwork).  Sponsorship does many things.  It assists funding the home and paying for the expenses of the child.  It helps with the educational expenses especially as the child goes onto secondary school.  Also, and certainly at least as important, it gives the child a glimpse of God's love for them because He has given them someone to correspond with on the other side of the earth who loves them enough to assist them financially and speak into their lives (the kids love writing to their sponsor).  Again, the sponsorships which occurred over the last two weeks encouraged us this is part of God's plan for the kids at C4KK.  If you would like to help us by sponsoring a child, simply go to the child sponsorship gallery on our website (www.SavedByGodsGrace.org) and it will lead you through the process...the four children who are not sponsored are anxiously waiting to be sponsored...is God moving you?

Lastly, a major move forward for "Stack the Stones" occurred.  This project is to move Tammy and me permanently to the children's home site by building a home on the property and to build a mission home on top of our home which will be a place where missionaries all over the world and within Kenya can come and spend time on the property with the kids.  What happened this last week was a group of five people gave a matching challenge of $5,000...yep, $5,000.  With this your contribution of $50 will be $100, $100 is $200, $500 is $1,000...you get the picture.  If this match is met it will bring our count of stones to 163.5 stones...what a beginning to the project this will be.  With this, we will be able to get the foundation slab completed and start "stacking the stones" on the foundation.  Again, I see this as God's affirmation of where He wants us to be...with the kids 24/7 as Mom and Dad.  While I will admit this is a little bit scary (we did not know if God was making this lifestyle in Kenya permanent or just temporary), we humbly submit to God's will for our lives and our purpose in serving Him...you have helped affirm what we have suspected...we are to serve in Kenya a long time.

If you can help us with this matching blessing, please go to our website (www.SavedByGodsGrace.org) and follow the "Stack the Stones" buttons to the donation site.  Once on the donation site you can select "Stack the Stones" in the allocation drop down box and your donation will be automatically doubled.  Then you can look at the "Stack the Stones" site on the website and watch the stones stack up.  Thank you for your generosity in this endeavor.

Well you can see a lot has happened this last two weeks..what a blessing.  You can stay up with the daily happenings on our blog by clicking here .  You can also contact us through our email of chuck@SavedByGodsGrace.org or tammy@SavedByGodsGrace.org.  The website again is www.SavedByGodsGrace.org or www.C4KK.org for the Children's Home website in Kenya.  Also, if you would like, send us a Facebook "friend" invitation and we will gladly accept.

I have been thanking God for His providence and continued guidance...through you.  I pray He will continue to sustain you with His sufficient Grace and He will be glorified through your actions.  Thank you for serving with Tammy and me as we are called to bring the love of Jesus to the children of Kenya.

Mungu akubariki marafiki zangu (God bless you my friends).

Serving with you only by His grace,
