Settling down...somewhat!

Secondary kids are now at school and the primary kids started back as well.  Primary kids have also begun tutoring again, not sure how happy they were about that!  But everyone seems happier to be doing something and it certainly is quieter here during the day!

Construction moves along on the mission home.  The top slab supports have been removed and the septic is just about done (can't move in without that completed!).   The electrician and plumber have begun their work and plastering the interior walls and ceiling will being soon.  However, we are still short of funds to complete the mission home.  Please click on the "stone" below for more information or to donate.  

We continue to fill in the calendar for our visit back to the US.  We'll be in the Michigan area August/September and the Phoenix area October/November....and in between during our drive from Michigan to Arizona.  If a group, Bible study, etc. would like to know more about the work and mission we have here in Kenya please click on the "calendar button" to the right to contact us and set up a time on the calendar.

The tomatoe harvests have declined due to the overabundance of rain but Roman continues working on the shamba to get it back to bountiful levels!

Our thanks to everyone for your continued support, both financially and prayerfully.  Some days are harder than others and we know it's the prayers of God's people reaching His ears which strengthen us!

Come watch the stones stack up with the fundraiser for a home/mission home to be built on the compound of C4KK Children's Home.  A church in Michigan kicked off the fundraiser with a $5000 donation!  That means 50 stones at $100 each were stacked up quickly!  We have moved from there to a total of 347 stones as of mid-April. The goal is 500 stones which would equal $50,000, the estimated cost of completing the ground floor.
