Mercy Child Foundation

Mercy Child Foundation was started in 2004 with only three children.  Those three children said their parents had died of HIV/AIDS and their relatives had chased them from their homes.  Mercy Child Foundation now has 34 children.

Two acres of land were purchased (with donations from friends in the US) where a home was built which could accomodate 80 children.  Future plans are to upgrade the facility.  A few of these upgrades are as follows:  fixing the latrine - DONE, upgrading the water situation - DONE, rebuild the kitchen and provide a wood storage unit, adding a dining hall and girls wing to the existing building and hiring a "house dad".  You can find up-to-date information on these and many more projects by going to Our Blog and our Photo Gallery.  Help us to bring food, shelter, education, hope and love to these children at Mercy Child Foundation by clicking on the "Donate Now" button below.
